In 1912: C.L. Parsons of Pacheco (Churn Creek Bottom) and his wife met 53 members of the Parsons clan unknown to him at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. There the Shasta County rancher saw for the first time the large gathering of men and women to whom he bore a relationship, yet had not known existed.
